On March 1st, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Yike Chemical High end Resin New Materials Industry Park project and the Haike Biobased Aviation Fuel Technology Transformation and Supporting Project was grandly held in the Dongying District Chemical Industry Park.

Yang Xiaohong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Group, introduced the basic situation of the Yike Chemical High end Resin New Materials Industrial Park project, Haike Biobased Aviation Fuel Technology Transformation and Supporting Projects, and stated that as the top priority of Haike's 2023 construction and development, Haike will highly focus and make every effort, with the goal of "fast construction, early completion, early production, and early effectiveness", to ensure the smooth completion of the project and make greater contributions to the construction of a high-level modern and strong city.

The Yike Chemical High end Resin and New Materials Industrial Park plans to invest 6 billion yuan, covering an area of 530 acres, covering 450000 tons/year of ABS high-end resin and supporting facilities, 50000 tons/year of high-performance butadiene styrene latex, 150000 tons/year of engineering plastic modification and supporting facilities, and the construction of a new material technology research and development base. It is a "high, precision, and cutting-edge" chemical project that will be a key focus of provincial attention, park development, and the most significant investment by Haike in recent years.

The 500000 ton/year bio based aviation fuel technology transformation and supporting project of Haike is a project undertaken by the group in response to the national strategy of "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality". It uses waste animal and plant fats and their derivatives as raw materials and adopts world leading processes to produce advanced biomass liquid fuels such as bio based aviation fuel and hydrocarbon based biodiesel. It has been included in the province's preferred projects. Compared with traditional petroleum liquid fuels, new fuels can reduce carbon emissions by more than 80%, reducing carbon emissions by 830000 tons per year, which is a powerful practice for Haike's product transformation towards high-end and low-carbon.
